Big Buttons, Inc. - "Buttons too big for your (HO) britches."

Big ButtonsLocated in Kansas City, Big Buttons, Inc. manufacturers full-sized buttons for prototypical people's clothing out of their moderate-sized factory. I got the idea for this plant from Button's Buttons in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I knew loads would be no problem - all I had to do was raid my wife's supply of old buttons! Gondolas and boxcars serve the plant.

Another industry named for a fellow modeler; Webster's primary business is manufacturing electric motors for the U.S. automotive industry (which was still thriving in the 1960's and 1970's). Mostly boxcars and coil-cars can be found on Webster siding, located just west of Clayton Jct.
